The SADC Gender and Development Monitor 2022, which is now in its eighth edition focuses on women's equal participation and leadership in political and public life as contained in Articles 5, 12 and 13 of the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. The SADC Protocol on Gender and Development is intrinsically aligned to the AU Agenda 2063 and the Beijing plus 20 Report.
