GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019/20

Following the approval of the SADC Secretariat’sBudget by SADC Council of Ministers in March2019, we are issuing this notice to inform the interested parties about the upcoming procurement opportunities and call for proposals within our organization.

For the fiscal year 2019/20, the SADC Secretariat has allocated for procurement of services, goods and works; and for call for proposals for grants, the following budget:

A breakdown of this budget allocation as well estimated schedule for procurement are to be found in the SADC Secretariat Annual Procurement Plan which is published on the SADC Secretariat website: www.sadc.int

Specific Procurement Notices for contracts to be tendered, Invitation to Prequalify or Calls for Proposals will be announced, as they become available, on the following websites: SADC Secretariat : www.sadc.int , UN Development Business: www.devbusiness.com  and dgMarket www.dgmarket.com .

Procurement of contracts and calls for proposals financed by the SADC Secretariat will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the SADC Secretariat Guidelines for Procurement and Grants January 2017 edition, and is open to all eligible bidders and applicants as defined in the guidelines and in the Specific Procurement Notices.

Interested eligible bidders and applicants who wish to be included on the mailing list to receive invitations to prequalify and bid for SADC Secretariat financed contracts or those requiring additional information, shall contact the SADC Secretariat at the address below.
