The Southern African Development Community (SADC) will hold the Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit of Heads of State and Government in Windhoek, Republic of Namibia on 31 January, 2023. His Excellency Dr Hage G. Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia will chair the Summit in his capacity as the Chairperson of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation. The Organ Troika Summit, comprising Republics of Namibia (current Chair of Organ), Zambia (Incoming Chair of the Organ) and South Africa (Outgoing Chair of the Organ) is expected to discuss and find ways of addressing the political and security situation in the SADC region.
