Ms. Angele Makombo N’tumba, a national of the Democratic Republic of Congo is the Deputy Executive Secretary for Regional Integration. She was sworn in on 17th August, 2022 during the 42nd SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government held in Kinshasa DRC.
Ms. Angele Makombo N’tumba officially assumed her position at the SADC Secretariat on 27th October, 2022. As the SADC Deputy Executive Secretary (Regional Integration), she is responsible for Directorates and functions that address SADC’s Regional Integration themes which include, Policy, Planning and Resources Mobilisation (PPRM), Industrial Development and Trade (IDT), Finance, Investment and Customs (FIC), Infrastructure, Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANR), Social and Human Development (SHD) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
