The SADC Public Lecture is an event organised by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to facilitate dialogue and exchange of ideas among various stakeholders, including policymakers, academics, and the public, with a focus on regional integration and sustainable development within the SADC region. These lectures are often held in conjunction with SADC Summits and aim to address key issues such as industrialization, research capacity, and the role of knowledge, science, technology, and innovation in economic growth.
The Lecture in Madagascar will be given by the President of the Republic of Madagascar, His Excellency Andry Nirina Rajoelina.
