SADC Executive Secretary, H.E Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax has thanked international cooperating partners for assisting the Center for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa (CCARDESA) to launch a grant facility.
Speaking at the launch of the CCARDESA Grant Facility in Gaborone yesterday, Dr. Tax said, “The region would not have made the great strides in the area of agriculture and natural resources development without the assistance of its friends and development partners. We therefore wish to convey our gratitude to the development partners for this assistance and hope they will continue to extend a friendly hand to CCARDESA for it to deliver on its important mandate. I wish to particularly pay tribute to the European Union, for facilitating the provision of the CCARDESA Grant facility that is being launched today”.
