Ambassador of the Russian Federation courtesy call on SADC Executive Secretary
On October 8, 2014, the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Botswana, Mr. Victor I. Sibilev paid a courtesy call on the SADC Executive Secretary, Dr Stergomena Lawrence Tax to introduce himself.
Mr Sibilev took this opportunity to reaffirm Russia's commitment to strengthen cooperation and partnership with SADC.
Ambassador Sibilev got accredited to Botswana on 29th September. He has been in the foreign service since 1980 and Holds the diplomatic rank of Minister Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the second class.
