The second SADC Annual Quality Awards presentation ceremony was held on the evening of the 21st March 2012 in Lilongwe, Malawi. This year the winning companies are; ITRON Metering Solutions a company from South Africa was the winner in the large enterprise company of the year category, with South African Breweries also a company from South Africa claiming the prize in the large enterprise product of the year category. Swift Micro Laboratories another company from South Africa won in the large enterprise service of the year category while Bak Logistics Private Limited a company from Zimbabwe won in the Small and medium enterprise service of the year category.
