In line with its five-year electoral cycle, the Republic of Zambia will hold its General Election on 13 August 2026.
In line with the revised SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections (2021), the Secretariat is expected to coordinate technical, logistical and administrative arrangements for deploying the SEOM to Zambia. The Secretariat is further expected to facilitate the observers’ pre-deployment refresher training and manage the overall SEOM activities.
