This is the fifty-third issue in series since the launch of news releases on SADC HCPI initiative. It provides updates up to January 2016 on HCPI for SADC Member States. The SADC Region registered annual inflation rate of 8.9% in January 2016 compared to January 2015 as measured by the HCPI. Month on Month inflation rate registered an increase of 1.4% in January 2016 compared to December 2015.
