Infrastructure support towards Regional Integration has as its principal goal to achieve unified, efficient, seamless, integrated, cost-effective and quality trans-national infrastructure networks and services that will further deepen socio-economic development resulting in poverty alleviation and prosperity of SADC citizens.
The overarching objective of Infrastructure interventions is to ensure the availability and universal access to sufficient, integrated, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure systems as well as the provision of sustainable services. Infrastructure includes; Energy, ICT, Transport, Water and Meteorology Sectors. There are also cross-cutting linkages for synergies with Gender, Youth, Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), Health, Environment and Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management.
