Communication & Public Relations Unit

The Communications and Public Relations Unit (CPRU) oversees a wide range of communications, visibility and awareness activities including:

providing strategic corporate communication, promotion and awareness of SADC programmes, as well as Public Relations and Protocol Services.
leading and coordinating implementation of SADC corporate communications, including media relations, public affairs, protocol services, corporate branding, and promotion of SADC and its programmes.
Driving the implementation of Communication, Visibility and Awareness interventions as outlined in the SADC Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) 2020 – 2030

Enhanced communication, visibility, and awareness of SADC, its activities, and impact, in the regional community and globally.
