The SADC Land Reform Support Facility collaborates with a number of institutions and individuals active in land related initiatives.

The Facility has actively collaborated with the tripartite secretariat of the African Union Commission (AUC) / African Development Bank (AFDB)/ United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on the Africa Land Policy Framework and Guidelines initiative. The Facility coordinated the southern Africa assessments and consultations aimed at identified regional specificities for consideration in the development of the continental land policy framework. It has participated in the consultations of other sub-regions to add value with the southern Africa rich experience in land reform. The Facility continues to contribute to the development process of the continental land policy framework and guidelines.

The Facility in collaboration with the World Bank Institute organizes regional workshops on topical land issues every year. These workshops benefit from international experience by linking through video conferencing facilities to experts from different parts of the world. In the past two years of the Facility’s existence the workshops were on land redistribution and land administration.
