With the availability of Rainfall Estimates (RFE) data for each dekad, the RRSU extracts average rainfall values for selected areas (or polygons) and presents them as cumulative time series graphs. The graphs allow comparison of the current season with the average and previous seasons.
Please note that these curves are only prepared for the main growing season
(September to April). The RRSU will provide more information on an
ad-hoc basis for the other months, especially for the northern SADC region.
