| Purpose | To lead the SADC PPP Network (SADC3P), an initiative established by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and its Member States in February 2011. SADC3P's purpose is to provide assistance to the relevant entities in Member States, the SADC Secretariat and Public Private Partnership (PPP) practitioners across the region more generally in developing capacity to implement PPP projects and programmes, improve PPP planning and contribute to the spread of best PPP practice between countries in the region.

| Operating Network |
The post holder will be a member of the DFRC staff assigned to the PPP Secretariat.
He/she will report, in terms of line management, to the CEO of DFRC and, in terms of the activities of SADC3P, to a Steering Group comprising representatives from SADC Member States. There will be a need to maintain and develop high-level external contacts with the SADC Secretariat, PPP public sector taskforces within Member States and other PPP stakeholders. |

The successful applicant shall be contracted initially for a period of two years, and may be required to undertake extensive travel around the Region and to hold high level meetings with various stakeholders including Network members, SADC Governments, international cooperating partners and other PPP partner institutions.
